About Zena
I was taught to crochet first but was always drawn to knitting! Being able to personalise my wardrobe and have pieces that are sustainable, slow fashion is so rewarding!
Currently, I’m working towards a PGCE to be an Art Teacher as I find helping people achieve their creative goals extremely fulfilling.
I’d love to help you make your first steps on your knitting journey!

About the lesson

Suited for absolute beginners, you won’t feel rushed into getting to grips with this new skill that can be a bit fiddly!
First lesson will look at casting on and off, knit and purl stitches and translating this into stockinette and garter stitches.
We will also look at basic techniques such as increasing and decreasing stitches, english and continental style knitting and ribbing.
When you feel ready, we can discuss a project to work toward so the lessons are tailored to suit your needs and will support you in getting your first garment finished!
