About Lucy
Hi, I’m Lucy, a magazine designer with experience creating editorial layouts and visual content for some of the UK’s leading fashion and lifestyle publications.
I specialise in editorial design, layout, typography, and creative concept development, and I love helping others build both their technical skills and creative confidence. Whether you’re just starting out with Adobe InDesign and Photoshop, putting together a portfolio, or looking to develop your eye for design, I aim to make learning approachable, engaging, and tailored to each student.
Alongside my design work, I’ve collaborated with editorial, fashion, and beauty teams to bring creative ideas to life, from page design and still-life concepts to visual storytelling. I understand that every learner works differently, so my lessons are supportive, practical, and focused on helping you achieve your own creative goals.
I believe the best way to learn is by creating, experimenting, and building confidence along the way. Whether you’re preparing for university, developing professional skills, or simply exploring a new creative hobby, I’d love to help you on your journey.

I am happy to facilitate GCSE & A-level creative subjects with ongoing coursework and exam tutoring. I can also help with degree level assignments or just general portfolio review for someone trying to get into the creative industry or just wants to expand their knowledge.
On the other end of the spectrum I can also coordinate lessons for primary and lower secondary age students, building on art foundations and principles.
