My teaching methods would consist of making sure I have an organized lesson plan for my students, making it clear in what they are struggling with and attacking those pain points in their education. A typical lesson plan would consist of a 10-page read from an article or a chapter book, taking note and reporting on where the student is skilled and where he/she needs work. To set me apart from other tutors is to realize that I will be upfront, yet I will also work my tail off to make sure that at the end of the day, the student gets the understanding that they need. The lesson would be primarily for non-English speakers, people in literacy or writing classes, people that have a tough time spelling and using grammar.
