About Susan
As a lover of all kinds of piano music ranging from classical to jazz, I would like to instil this love in my students which will no doubt last a lifetime.
Throughout my life I have discovered that playing the piano sharpens concentration skills, improves aural awareness and is a wonderful way of bringing together the larger community as well as small groups, friends and family.

My aim as a tutor is to create a deep love and understanding of the piano which will lead to playing for pleasure and, in some cases, provide the confidence to pass graded exams. 30 minutes is a typical length of time for beginners and lower grade ability. Age is not particularly relevant. I have taught adults who are beginners but would advise 5 years of age as minimums a beginner.
