About Matthias
I completed a MSc at the elite French engineering school Ecole Centrale Paris, and went on to do a PhD in Applied Mathematics in my dream city, Tokyo. After a successful research and trading career in finance (JP Morgan, several hedge funds), I decided to dedicate myself to my passion for teaching students and coaching finance professionals looking to upscale.

I offer 90mn lessons (remote, or in central London) to optimise learning and develop my students' skill sets. I teach at all ages, and specialise in undergraduate and graduate studies, exam preparation, and even coach entry-level finance professionals. I believe in developing autonomous thinking in my students and developing their capacity to be creative and resourceful. I'm only happy when I see a real transformation in my students' approach to problem solving.
