About Wiktor
My name is Wiktor Plaza and I have been playing as well as studying music since the age of six, which is when I first started playing the tenor trombone, later at the age of ten I picked up the bass trombone which greatly advanced my skills in performance and sight reading, at the same time I was also playing the piano at a basic advanced level, mostly classical composers. At the age of sixteen I auditioned to enter the City of Leeds Youth Orchestra and got the position of bass trombonist which I held for three years, at eighteen I enrolled to Leeds Conservatoire studying classical music whilst being involved in many musical productions being predominantly jazz and samba themed, such as Evita, Legally Blonde, and the Addams Family Musical. At the same time I was working alongside Opera North Orchestra where I was a member of the Opera North Youth Orchestra based in Leeds where I worked on many classical Operas for two years, working on Tchaikovsky's Oniegin, Verdi's La Forza del Destino, I graduated Leeds Conservatoire in 2023 with a certificate in higher education in classical Music.

The way I teach is always beginning with basics first, whether that's breathing and practical techniques or the understandings of the music and how it should sound, I also will give students recommendations on what to listen to and what learning materials a student of mine should have. The typical length of a lesson would be one hour, my qualifications are from Leeds Conservatoire where I hold a Degree in a Higher Education in Classical Music. These lessons are aimed for students from ages 16+ with a basic understanding of music theory of a Grade Five Standard.
