About Marie
As a dancer who has led multiple teams into competitions, I want to be able to inspire others to find a passion in dance and help improve their skills. Developing a student's confidence is the most important thing to me, so I will do everything I can to make the lessons comfortable and enjoyable. My style leans towards commercial hip-hop, but I enjoy other styles like popping or house. I enjoy freestyling the most, but I have a lot of experience in choreographed pieces.

From leading an advanced dance team in inter-university competitions and performing with different dance crews, my lessons will be mainly focused on the fundamentals of street dance like hip-hop. It will focus on developing a person's groove and basic knowledge, which can be applied to choreography or freestyling. Typically, a lesson can last from 1 to 2 hours, with the beginning of the session focusing on drills and the second half on choreography. The lessons are for any level and will be catered to the student's ability.
