About Abdul
I taught myself the piano and drums from a very young age, I was constantly surrounded by music and musicians which inspired me to learn more. I didn’t do any grades, because of my environment my ear was musically adept. Everyone has the potential to learn by ear! I’ve always found joy in teaching, I’ve had lots of students over the years, the most standout student I’ve had is probably a 10-year-old kid I started teaching 4 years ago. He’s now grown musically and is reading music as well as being able to interpret and learn via his ear. I want to show people that music isn’t as complicated as it seems. If you look at the world today there aren’t many universal languages. Firstly you’d probably say money, right after that it’s music! It’s amazing we have a language we don’t all need to understand to enjoy and express ourselves via music. I believe music is a language, just like every language it takes a bit of practice to get a grip of the basics, however the more you understand, the deeper conversations you can have. Music can be interpreted as a strict regiment but that’s not always the case. Believe it or not, everyone has the capacity to be musical! Our ears are naturally used to pitching sounds, once you understand the alphabet of music the rest will come naturally but of course with practice! It works the same way a child picks up a language by being surrounded by it! Once your ear is trained the joy you can get from music is amazing, being able to play and understand any song that you like or hear on the radio will be a rewarding feeling :)

I went to Abdul for several months and I learned so much. I love Abdul's style of teaching. He taught me in a way that I could play loads of songs before I knew it. Highly recommend.
Great person to work with. I have had several lessions with him and can only speak words of praise. Unfortunatley i was not able to continue due to familly reasons but as soon as i am able to i will continue the lessions because the foundations he taught me are rock solid and helped me progress further than i ever could have hoped with the piano. A good teacher does go a long way :)
Abdul was my piano tutor for over a year, we did a lesson once a week. As a full time college student and working part time he always try his best to accommodate me if I had to change time or dates. The lessons were great I was a beginner when I started and I definitely noticed progress over time in all aspects of my playing skills that definitely wouldn’t happened without Abdul. I am 100% happy that I chose Abdul as my tutor.
