My teaching method includes fun games/ icebreakers through which I make sure tough concepts are understood by students easily. I always have multiple modules available for students who prefer a more visual way of learning as oppose to students who prefer learning through engaging props or for those who prefer a more rigorous rote way via quizzes which also very helpful in some cases.
A typical lesson plan would include a couple of games/icebreakers, a summary of the topic we are about to learn, some paper handouts with important definitions, important diagrams related to the topic/concept.
I was a student up until a couple of years ago, so I completely understand the frustrations of students so I level with them and have the patience to get their doubts cleared. I never belittle whatever challenges my students face.
