About Akash
I want my students to learn but also enjoy the process of learning. Learning a language should be fun - you're learning a new way to express yourself! I'm a patient teacher with experience teaching English in Sri Lanka to non-speakers in Sri Lanka - and I know what it's like to be a student, having recently learned Spanish. As a result, I'm confident that I can help any student reach their English goals.

I know how intimidating learning a language can be. I like to teach people language that they can actually use, starting with topics that come up often: your daily activities, your likes and dislikes, questions that come up often. I love learning about what my students are passionate about and giving them the tools to talk about it in English. Based on the level of a student, I might start with just the present tense and build up from there.
