About Laetitia
I am a lyrical singer (opera mostly), graduated from the Conservatoire de Châtillon in France, at a teaching level. I started the Conservatoire at 6 years old, discovering music, then learning to play the violin for 15 years, choir singing, orchestra and music theory. In 2011, I released my first album of folk music called The Girl on the Bench, and started touring in France regularly each year, and for 2 intense weeks in the summer with a concert each evening. I then released a second album called Protest Songs, folk music still, in 2018. Finally, I created a band called The Andrews Sisters Revival (jazz singing) where I had 2 singers with me and musicians (2 trumpets, 1 saxophone, 1 piano, 1 bass and 1 drum) and we would sing the main hits of the Andrews Sisters.

The approach will more or less depend on what genre you want to learn and what your level is. In any case, the sessions are organised around a few vocalisations and breathing exercises to prepare the vocal cords. If you're starting from zero, we'll explore your voice and tessitura during the first sessions, so that we can begin a programme and method that suits your voice. From there, we'll build a programme that's right for you. If you already have some singing experience, I'll listen to your voice, range and any difficulties you're experiencing, and we can build on this to either continue a programme you've already started, or establish one together.
