About Abby
While I am only 22, I have spent many years working with kids who are trying to find a passion and their voice through art. I've worked at art museums and taught art classes at schools and summer camps. I've worked with non-profit organizations focusing on teaching young students to create and learn about different methods and techniques. And due to my age, I'm able to understand and connect with newer perspectives. I love art, I try to make something every day, but mostly I love being able to share that passion with other people and being able to learn from each other.

A typical lesson plan would include an introduction to the subject with definitions and examples of artists or pieces of work that match the subject. Then give a tutorial on how to create the subject, for an art history lesson would give the student time to observe and describe a piece, and assign the student a personalized project centered around the topic they learned.
The lessons are for all ages from beginners to advanced levels. I'm interested in tutoring whoever is looking to learn new techniques in drawing or painting or who is looking for a more helpful way to understand art history.
