About Malik
Hello! I am Malik Cochran, a graduate from the University of Central Florida, and I have been extremely passionate about two things my entire life: education and video games. My life goal is to try to merge the two together and allow classroom spaces to be a place of exploration and fun. I enjoy making a fun approach in my lessons since it helps break the ice and allows for concepts to sink in faster. I have a Bachelor's in English with a focus on Comparative Literature.

A typical lesson from me starts with a moment to talk about our day so I can understand where you are coming from fully and use that to make any adjustments to the lesson if necessary. I am an avid gamer so my goal is always to gamify education and make it engaging and fun for everyone involved. These are involved in lessons for all ages and educational backgrounds since I understand the intimidating task of reading and writing and the shame that often comes with struggling with it. The games help us overcome that shame and enjoy learning.
