About Caitlin
I am an English and Film graduate from the University of Birmingham who currently teaches at a large comprehensive school in a leafy city. Primarily an English teacher, my passion and expertise lie in both Film Studies and Media Studies. I devote my time to these subjects because they were my favoured ones in my own school days, and hopefully they will become your favourites, too!

I take a patient and methodical approach to tutoring, with added flexibility to suit your child’s needs. I will assess their prior knowledge and work from this to build a solid foundation alongside their usual lessons. Sessions will complement the curriculum and the pace of learning of a typical school environment. As an active teacher, I am up-to-date on all pedagogical research and come prepared to create a successful learning environment for your child.
