About Leah
I am a 24-year-old living and teaching in Dublin, originally from the West of Ireland. Having grown up in the West where Irish was highly encouraged, I developed a love for the language which is why I went on to study my master's in education at Trinity College Dublin. I currently teach Irish and Music in Dublin and enjoy every minute of it. It is a nationwide struggle among students to learn the language due to its difficult nature. I want to help you understand it and find the same joy that I found in learning it growing up!

The beginning of our sessions will start with a short and brief assessment of where you are at in terms of the language and grammar. We will use this as our basis to know where your weak points are and where the focus is needed. We will then move on to all things grammar and understanding the language. From the tenses of our verbs to everyday vocabulary, we will explore all areas to get you to a high standard of both writing and speaking the language. From here, after mastering the various rules, we will look at the prescribed texts and how to approach exam papers. I will give you advice on how best to approach questions in terms of structure and what examiners look for. This will also include the oral exam.
