About Misen
I have been teaching Japanese over 20 years in Northern Michigan in person and online. at a local college, I have been teaching group lessons as well as private tutoring. My clients love my Google Slides presentations that I use for our weekly lessons. Between lessons, I also provide some materials to work on if my clients request. People say I am very easy to talk to, very patient, and encouraging!

my lessons are very flexible depending on your will and purpose of learning. For beginners, I would use my original Google Slides presentation for your easy understanding. My lessons will cover basic conversation, Hiragana writing, listening using YouTube clips, useful vocabulary and some Japanese culture information. If you are an intermediate student and would rather focus on speaking, I, of course, accommodate the request.
