About Tynan
I graduated with a Bachelor of Legal Studies in 2016, A Master of Teaching in 2020 and a Graduate Certificate in Applied Linguistics (TESOL) in 2021.
I spent my first two years teaching in Darwin in the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Program and NTCET/SACE Senior Years Program. The past four years I have taught at a specialist school for students having trouble engaging with learning and require additional supports to achieve their learning goals.
I am a friendly and approachable teacher who shows interest in students' wants, needs and interests to develop lessons and programs tailored for the student.

In recent years I have worked with students in small group settings catering to the needs of students who find engaging in school difficult. This helped me to develop a teaching method driven by student needs and interests and taught me to create dynamic lessons that hold interest by varying tasks and managing cognitive load.
