About Rebekah
I'm a history graduate from Ulster University with a 2.1 Honours degree in History with Education, and my dissertation was awarded First Class. I want to teach because I remember what it felt like when history clicked for me and I want to help students find that same spark, whether they're struggling with essay structure, exam technique, or just feeling overwhelmed by how much there is to know. You can expect professionalism from me: I show up on time, come prepared, give honest feedback, and track progress so you can actually see yourself improving. My goal is simple: help you feel more confident, more capable, and maybe even a little bit excited about history

My approach is discussion- and source-based. I engage with primary sources, maps, and different historical interpretations so you learn to think like a historian, not just memorise dates. Sessions would be about an hour, but I'm flexible. I hold a 2.1 Bachelor's Honours degree in History with Education from Ulster University, with my dissertation awarded First Class. My degree focused on the evolution of witchcraft in media, which means I've got real experience analysing how history is interpreted, represented, useful for essay skills and critical thinking. Lessons are aimed at GCSE through A-Level history students, and also undergrads who want essay support, exam technique, or help getting to grips with a tricky module.
