About Christie
I have been a coach, teacher, tutor, and mother for the past 30 years. My educational background in elementary education and psychology makes me the perfect tutor. I have taught and/or coached at homeschool, private school, and public school. I love getting to know the student and will always work with you to find out how to make our sessions productive and interesting, but most of all a positive experience for you. Learning is not just paper and pencil; I like to add other activities to the session to make time fly while you are learning.

I have a well-rounded approach to tutoring. I work to the student's strengths to work on the subject or area that they need improvement in. I want the student to excel with confidence so that they see results and can build on their progress session after session.
