About Veronica
I'm a kind and open contemporary dance artist. I specialised at London Contemporary Dance School, and then I decided to stay in London and build a career as a freelance artist. During my time at LCDS, I’ve had the pleasure to work with several artists across the UK and Europe, such as Alethia Antonia, Yolande York, Monique Jonas, Frauke Requardt and David Rosenberg, and Anthony Matsena.
Exploring and discovering new energetic nuances and movement qualities pushes me when I dance. I am particularly interested in floor-work and in the idea of using your body in relationship with the room, by pushing, sliding, and rolling following a true dynamic, never forced. I also like to be a part of challenging and different creative processes that include stepping out of my comfort zone and always learning more about my movement.
I am also interested in developing relationships between the dancers on stage, whether it is character-based, or more abstractly related to how they move and react on stage.
Currently, I work as a freelance dance artist and facilitator across London organisations such as AkomaAsa Arts, Skipz Production, and Mala Cherga Theatre; while I’m still developing myself as a professional dance artist with opportunities offered by organisations such as CreativeRework.

I teach contemporary or ballet classes. My methodology is a personal approach to movement that combines with my many years of experience. I have worked with organisations such as AkomaAsa Arts, Dance and Arts Ltd, Skipz Production, Mala Cherga Theatre, and Etna Ballet, and earned valid qualifications as a dance teacher and tutor. Lessons are flexible for any level or ability, and adaptable to your style of learning.
