About John
Teaching is my happy place, I have been teaching for nearly 20 years both in schools and colleges in England. I have delivered throughout all the key stages in secondary school, from KS3 all the way up to, and including, KS5. I love those 'light bulb' moments when a student finally understands a topic. I will put all my effort into ensuring you not only learn but you enjoy learning.

I offer a person-centred approach to learning. Mathematics is not a 'one-size fits all' subject. I will help to build your confidence which in turn will lead to greater understanding of each topic within maths. Learning will be tailored to suit your individual needs and delivered in such a way as to build on your strengths and improve your weaker areas.
