I'm a freelance musician with a lifetime of musical experience, > 5 years of private teaching experience and a BMus.
I'm comfortable teaching in a variety of settings, from one-on-one tutoring to large group lessons, and happy to cater to the individual needs of any student.

As a teacher I love to teach whatever it is my students want to learn. I think the best way to develop and flourish as a musician is to focus on whatever inspires you, so I encourage students to direct their own learning pathways.
As a trained musician I believe in the value of technical and theoretical approaches to music, but that this information should be delivered in an enjoyable and practical way.
