About Colin
Hi my name is Colin! I grew up in Luxembourg where I started learning French at age of 8 until my high school graduation. I had to use it on a daily basis for long periods of my life and by now feel very confident to help other aspiring French-learners! Having to learn the language from scratch I know the struggles and difficulties of French. There are so many grammatical exceptions and verb tenses it can make it seem overwhelming. I am here to help! Having learnt over the years what grammar is actually important to talk the language, I have adapted my course to make my lessons efficient and to-the-point for my students.

I like to give my lessons with a mix of structured teaching and spontaneity (and some fun too!). I think this is a good approach as it allows my students to learn efficiently while not feeling like being in a high school class where everything is dictated. It allows for more interesting and engaging discussions and exercises which makes remembering new words and concepts a lot easier.
