I like to use concrete materials to start lessons in maths, as it helps with understanding, then move onto worksheets, depending on there and stage of the learner. My lessons usually are 45 - 60 mins, but I will make time for a break in between so the work doesn't get too overwhelming. I have three years experiences teaching in primary schools, ranging from Primary 1 - Primary 7.
