About Daniel Ryan
My name is Ryan and I graduated in drums Grade 8 in Rock School, Malaysia…I started playing drums when I was 3 as a hobby drummer…but after not taking any class due to some personal reasons with my tutor when I was 8, I wanted to try improvising my skill from what I’ve learned then…and ever since that time, I started becoming better and better every year…I embraced the phrase “Practice Makes Perfect” and as I got better I had the courage to be a freelance drummer. So for about 2 years , I started doin gigs with a few bands In bars and also joined in my church band and attended many big church events til 2019 and all of them were impressed with my skills because of me having the habit of always improvising even during songs where I wasn’t too familiar with. When I turned 17 I wanted to be qualified enough to teach others and share this skill .So I started attending another class with another tutor and he was impressed with what I’ve achieved over the years of practicing on my own which gave him the courage to teach me more. I started at Grade 5 and I excelled with distinction which made my teacher proud of me and because of how I’ve improvised on my skills to be better. He then made his decision to push me up to Grade 8 instead of continuing with Grade 6 and I still achieved great results I’m 20 this year and up to this point I am still learning even though I’ve already graduated…and I want to do the same by helping out all u guys in improving ur drum skills

I will be teaching them mainly about how they can improve in their skills generally in drums by showing them how to improvise from the point they’re already at. From there I’m going to show them how fast it is they can learn to improve their skills faster without learning any notes. I will be also adding in basic theory which will also help them gain more knowledge about the skill they’re learning.
