About Ivy
I currently hold an undergraduate degree in English studies, but I am pursuing my Master of Arts in English from Ohio University. I have been a freelance editor and proofreader for at least 5 years, with some of my clients going on to publish books on Amazon with 4- and 5-star ratings. I also have a background in psychology and have been an avid reader and writer for over 20 years. I am adaptable, dependable, and empathetic, and I will always strive to make sure my student not only knows but understands as well. As English, like any other language, is ever-evolving, I make sure to keep myself informed on the latest composition rules, such as the latest version of MLA, APA, of Chicago Manual of Style citation and formatting guidelines.

I can also help you find and understand resources and assist with homework assignments. My lessons are for students from Kindergarten through undergraduate college, and we focus on grammar, literature, and/or composition at each grade level.
