I am a graduated in Teacher Training from Spain, so I am native Spanish speaker who loves the Education environment.
I am continually forming to improve my skills in teaching Spanish, therefore these courses have prepared me to teach any ages, from children to adults.
My Philosophy of Teaching is basically focused on the students because I adapt to their aims and needs. The lesson structures follow a learning process that should be adapted to the student's progression.
Learning by enjoying and feeling is the way to reach an effective progression. So I try to work in a natural way to learn a natural language. For example, having a chat, talking about typical themes, or however for beginners, describing normal situations, learning basic speaking phrases... In conclusion, first of all, It is to acquire productive skills and after that improving the grammar to master the language.
To date, I have been fortunate enough to teach across a range of disciplines and classes at three different Spanish Primary schools. Having developed my teaching practice whilst studying, I would like to take the opportunity to put into practice these skills. Whilst concurrently studying I have had the opportunity to teach and support Year 1 and 2 in Literacy, Mathematics, Science and Physical Education.
I have got a University Degree in Teaching Training coursed in Spain, what I finished in 2015.
Also, I am getting a course about Teaching Spanish as a foreign language, what is giving me more skills and knowledge about how to teach a different culture and a different language.
