About Nericcia
I'm a recent JC graduate looking to meaningfully help juniors better enjoy learning from young and not face frustration when struggling. Being naturally empathetic, I had always taken the role of explaining concepts to classmates to bridge the gap between the teachers' lessons and my peers' knowledge. While I maintain professional and serious about studies, I keep myself approachable and warm as I believe a comfortable learning atmosphere greatly contributes to the efficacy.

My teaching style would be getting to know how students understand their content and explaining it with relatable anecdotes to form a more coherent picture of the subject. Simultaneously, I tend to test their comprehension rather than memorisation, showing them exactly what went wrong and then offering in-depth suggestions on how to move forward. Progress tracking is about monitoring how confident they are in tackling questions without guidance, and how well they understand each concept, rather than just getting the answer right. Since secondary school, I have taught many classmates for chemistry and e math, where some managed to get from failing to Bs.
