About Sarah
I trained as a professional double bass player at the Royal Academy of Music in London. I graduated in 1998 and chose not to pursue a career in music, instead, to be on the other side and enjoy listening to other people play music! Following my degree I went to Paris for a year to learn French. Upon my return to London I worked at Goldman Sachs for a few years on the trading floor which was lots of fun. A new adventure took me to Mallorca where I ran a holiday property business for over 12 years. It was there I welcomed three wonderful daughters into the world and we moved back to the UK in September 2014 where I opened up my Bed and Breakfast business. I love my job, really enjoy meeting new people and learning about lives from all over the world. My family and I always eat together in the evening and enjoy conversation about whatever is the hot topic of the day! Music, travel, film and fitness are my passions.

I am someone who enjoys conversation, whether it be about the arts, travel, politics, music, or the weather! Whatever your chosen subject is I will be happy talking to you. I am comfortable teaching children and adults in equal measure. Lessons are 50 minutes which I believe is optimum for concentration and we will just chat so you can practise your conversation with a British national. I have no regional accent and am a stickler for good grammar!
