About Emma

I'm an active musician myself as a member of a Symphony Orchestra and regular chamber musician. I look forward to sharing my passion for music with my students! Please feel free to reach out with any questions or for more information.

About the lesson

I began teaching violin eight years ago and discovered a genuine passion for music education. I enjoy teaching students of all ages and musical backgrounds, including both children and adults. Through experience, I like to individualize my lessons to match my student's own goals and am encouraging, patient and motivating.

I have experience preparing students for ABRSM, RIAM and Trinity Guildhall performance exams as well as for competitions, auditions and the Leaving Cert Music practical exam.

Typically lessons are between 30-60 minutes depending on my student's preference.

Emma is very patient and easy to talk to, and she’s really good at explaining things in a simple and clear way. I’ve seen how much effort she puts into preparing her lessons and how much she cares about helping people improve. She’s friendly, supportive and makes learning feel relaxed and enjoyable. I’d definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a tutor.
