About Sarah
My repertoire of Spanish Language studies includes 5 years of Spanish Language classes taken on the undergraduate level, at both the University of Arizona in Tucson, and Eastern Arizona Community College.
I attended a 4 month program in Chile, where I continued my Spanish language studies; I took phonetics, grammar, and conversational Spanish classes. The majority of my time in Chile was spent with native Spanish speakers from the local region.
In 2021 I graduated from the University of Arizona with a degree in Latin American Studies and Spanish Language.

My native language is English, but I consider Spanish to be relatively simpler in construct and fairly straightforward to learn. For me, studying and practicing Spanish with other people is essential to learn and maintain the language.
I also find a vital source of accountability in having a teacher who can be a study partner; accountability can lead to consistent practice, which leads to growth.
I find music, film, radio, and literature to be great tools for language acquisition, but let's not forget person-to-person conversation!
As a teacher I hope to identify your personal learning style, and work with you to find ease and growth in the practice of a new language!
