About Hannah
I am incredibly passionate about Spanish and want to share this passion with others. I have had many excellent Spanish teachers in my life and aspire to have the same impact that they had on me on my students.
I always approach teaching with patience and openness. I encourage honest feedback and communication from my students so that we can work together to find the approach to learning and teaching that works best for them.
I have a BA in Spanish and Philosophy (First Class Honours with Distinction in Spanish), graduated top of my year in the department of Spanish, Portuguese, and Latin American Studies at King's College London, and hold a Master's Degree in Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies from the University of Oxford, with my research being based in the department of Latin American Studies.

Spanish
I take a holistic approach to Spanish teaching and believe that a true understanding of the language is necessary for success. I don't just teach vocabulary lists and long sets of rules, I explain why things are the way they are and make sure that my students are equipped with a strong foundational knowledge that they can easily build upon. Learning a language is much quicker and more straightforward when you can see the bigger picture!
I understand sometimes we have to cater to the demands of tests and exams, and I tailor my materials accordingly, but I will always make sure that my students properly comprehend what they are learning in order to maximise their retention and improve their confidence.
Typical lessons last for one hour.
I teach students at GCSE and A-Level, and can also provide speaking practice sessions.
