About Bethany
As a Philosophy graduate with papers in Modern French Literature, I can assure that the essay-writing skills that I've obtained through the Philosophy side of my degree have been essential to my success in Literature papers, and my deeper understanding of literary criticism as a whole. I believe that these skills are of immense value to my students, whose progress in essay-writing and expression of complex ideas becomes evident very rapidly.

With experience in both voluntary mentoring schemes and private tutoring, I'm happy to provide lessons to all ages and abilities in both English Language and English Literature.
Having consistently obtained A* grades in English Language and Literature throughout school, and having specialised in Modern French Literature, I'm very comfortable and familiar with literary criticism and the importance of engaging with a text as a student, as well as learning particular strategies and tactics to ensure exam success.
