I offer personalised tutoring for students applying to undergraduate and postgraduate Law courses, including support with personal statements, written applications, admissions tests and interviews.
I have a First Class BA in History and a Distinction at MPhil level from the University of Cambridge, followed by a PGDL at the University of Law, where I achieved Distinctions and High Distinctions across the course. I have also recently secured a training contract with a solicitors’ firm, following a competitive application process involving written applications, interviews and legal aptitude-style assessments.
I can support students with:
- Undergraduate Law applications, including UCAS personal statements and course selection
- LNAT preparation, including multiple-choice technique and essay writing
- Oxbridge Law applications and interview preparation
- Postgraduate Law applications, including conversion courses and LLM applications
- Personal statements and written applications
- Developing a clear and convincing academic rationale for studying Law
- Interview preparation and practice
- Critical thinking, argumentation and analysis
Reviewing applications and identifying areas for improvement
Although my undergraduate degree was in History, my academic training at Cambridge and subsequent legal education have given me a strong foundation in research, analytical writing and constructing precise arguments. I can help students develop these skills and, importantly, communicate their academic interests in Law in a way that feels specific and intellectually genuine rather than generic.

imo is so lovely and such a good influence on my son. She tutored him for 2 and a half years until he finished school and she helped him with his applications for university as well as his English. thank you Imo!
Imogen is a really patient tutor. For lessons, she makes very informative powerpoints. She has really good teaching materials. I learnt so much from her lessons. I would definitely recommend her as tutor!
Imogen was my History Mentor during my under degree. She was very dedicated to making sure I had the access to all the resources I needed, and was generally very prepared and responsive. When I needed academic assistance she was extremely useful and would explain concepts and problems to me with consistency and patience. Would recommend!
