About Annapurna
I achieved a merit in MA Contemporary Literature and Culture from Birkbeck, University of London and previous to this I studied for a BA degree, with honours, in English Literature and Film Studies. I am also fully TEFL qualified (and have taught TEFL in Romania). My professional experience is mainly in the education sector (tutoring, teaching, student support work and mentoring) and healthcare sector (clinical training and professional development). I currently work for Public Health Wales on a young people's mental health programme. I am a friendly native speaker who is well educated, experienced and a good communicator. I can ensure that all students I tutor will realise their full potential!

I have experience of tutoring all ages in a variety of settings, including online private tutoring, in person tutoring, classroom teaching and teaching at a Montessori school. I definitely like to take a student-centred approach to learning which helps students feel empowered and confident. I adapt my methodologies and lesson plans to suit my student as everyone is different with individual learning needs/desired outcomes.

Hello, my rates vary slightly if I am teaching primary school age or adult learners and I will charge a cancellation fee if it is your second time, or more, cancelling. I am willing to negotiate rates.
