About Aileen
I possess oral and written English skills near native level, which is shown through my language certificate from April 2020. Furthermore, for the admission to my bachelor studies in the field of media and communication excellent English skills were a prerequisite. In addition, my studies included not only daily reading of English literature at the highest academic level, but also the active participation in English seminars and lectures, which improved my English skills even further. Moreover, it was part of my master’s programme to travel to the 69th Annual ICA Conference (2019) which took place in Washington, D.C., USA and therefore held in English. The Annual ICA Conference is considered the biggest international conference in the realm of communication studies/ communication sciences.

The plan for the first meeting is to get to know each other, map out the individual learning goals and where your weaknesses and strengths lie. Weekly milestones are then set to plan learning progress and not lose sight of the goal. Nevertheless, it is essential that the fun is not lost, and that the lessons are designed to be as interactive and fun as possible without losing focus. I am a nice, approachable person who is happy to answer your questions and help as much as possible. It is desirable that you are curious, eager to learn and have many questions.
