About Brooke
I am a now high school graduate of 2020. I’ve been playing music since I was 6 years old and picked up the bass guitar in year 6 after playing the double bass for 3 years. I’ve completed some music exams (up to grade 4) but have found that doing exams made me lose interest in my instruments. I studied music and music extension all through out high school and have always received A’s/B’s for my work. I have consistently been praised as a talented musician by my music teachers.

I will approach teaching in a fun enthusiastic way as I know from previous experience that if you are not enjoying the music you are playing, you are not going to maintain the passion and love for the instrument. Therefore it is crucial that my students communicate what music THEY want to play or techniques they want to learn. I’m there as a supportive mentor to path their passion and make sure they keep their passion.
