About Isadora
Hello guys! Very excited with the opportunity of being here in the plataform :) I went to college to earn my degree in Arts with emphazis in education, and have been teaching art theory and art techniques for dozens of students since then, from elementary school alumni to elderly people in rest homes, as well as other art teachers themselves. I've been all over the place into the artistic mediuns, therefore regarding draw, I consider myself an enthusiast of character design, still life, human figure, cartoon, portraits, perspective, realistic draw, botanical illustration, one line draw, and so on. Very into it as you can see :) You could also say that most of my art is categorized as dry painting, since I can happily spend some good amount of time detailing pictures with charcoals and dry pastels. I have the sharpen eye to settle you into a style (if that's what you would like), as well as the right methodologies to help you develop your skills and artistic level with fun, curiosity and time working by your side. The draftsman is a natural student and observer of form, proportion, perspective, and light and shadow. Considering this, I try to maximize student exposure to the characteristics of what you want to create, encouraging the use of photographs, live models and still lifes, and existing illustrations of what you intend to compose. Drawing is a visual language that communicates through its structural elements, being the line, the point, the shape and, possibly, the color, and the due interaction of the designer with these elements is what will determine the speed and success of their respective visual literacy. To ensure an efficient and light walk through these appropriations, I combine technical exercises that are pure mastery of the tool, as well as playful activities to stimulate creativity and innovation. These combined virtues are the combo for someone who wants to experience the freedom of visual fluency. Let’s sketch all of it together! :)
