About Marcia
I am Brazilian (carioca) and studied at the American School from 5-18 yo. I graduated in English Literature (with honours) at Concordia University (Montreal). Today I live in the US and am pursuing a master's degree. I have always loved reading and writing, and one of the things I value the most is helping students fall in love with texts that are often difficult to interpret and considered boring.

I help students with literary analysis of texts (specialty: Shakespeare), help with public speaking (I offer multiple prompts during class), and help students write/develop essays. Most of my students are between 15 and 20 years old and are high school students. I also prepare students who want to take the TOEFL/IELTS and SAT/ACT. I help prepare college applications and train them for interviews.
