About Benji
Hi guys, I’m your tutor based in Nairobi. I have rich experience working with cross-cultural students. I’ve tutored Canadians and Chinese learners before, so I’m familiar with different countries’ learning styles and can adapt my teaching to suit you perfectly. Additionally, I spent almost a decade working in Japanese enterprises, giving me thorough insight into Japanese culture and workplace norms.
I love teaching because I want to support all learners, both locals and international students, help you fix weak subjects and build learning confidence. Nothing makes me happier than watching every one of you make clear progress in your studies, so I’m really excited to guide all of you on your learning journey.

I use a student-centered and personalized teaching methodology. I assess each student’s level, learning gaps, and learning style at the start, then adjust my teaching pace and content accordingly.
A typical lesson lasts 45 to 60 minutes for young learners and school students, and 60 to 90 minutes for advanced learners or exam-focused students. Each class follows a structured routine: short revision, new knowledge input, targeted practice, mistake analysis, and lesson summary.
I have solid tutoring experience working with learners of different ages and proficiency levels. I am skilled at designing customized study plans, identifying weak points, and helping students make steady progress in their studies and exams.
My lessons are suitable for children, teenagers, and adult learners, ranging from beginner to intermediate level.
