About Imna
I grew up speaking Spanish at my house and was in ESL classes until 5th grade. I completely understand the challenges and tricks that come with learning a new language- it can be done! In regards to tutoring experiences with language, I have tutored students in English & Spanish for Reads & Counts at Texas A&M University :)

I always like to see where students are at before I start working with them. I will begin with a few conversational questions to see how confident the student is with their pronunciation/grammar. From there, I focus on any material that they are currently struggling on and on any homework assignment they are currently working on. It's very helpful to know what is being taught in the classroom - repetition and practice is key for learning a new language!
The main goal is to have fun with it and to become as fluent with the language as possible! :)
