About Marco
arese, graduated from the Como Conservatory with Maestro Stefano Dall'Ora with an evaluation of 9.5 / 10.
I continued my studies following the specialization course at the Music Master School in Milan for two years with Maestro Francesco Siragusa, first double bass of the Teatro alla Scala, and for another two years with Maestro Samuele Sciancalepore, "Solo stv. Kontrabass" in the Sinfonieorchester Basel. I also participated in 14 Masterclasses from 2013 to 2021 with the following Masters: Giuseppe Ettorre, Alberto Bocini, Samuele Sciancalepore, Enrico Fagone, Francesco Siragusa, Ezio Pederzani, Alessandro Serra.
Currently I am the first double bass of the CANOVA orchestra , but I often collaborate with other orchestras, including the UNIMI orchestra (state of Milan).

We start with the method of M ° Murelli, a new didactic approach at least for the first phase of study, personally experienced. In the most common methods, we proceed starting from the most extended positions for the left hand with chromatic exercises that are difficult to intonate for the beginner. Instead, starting from the fourth position, the student can easily intone the intervals of the fifth and octave that are formed with the empty strings and is facilitated in assuming a correct posture. In this way, learning takes place much faster, allowing in a few months to be able to tackle simple passages and studies.
The subsequent methods are in line with the path of the conservatory. Billè and Simandl, but I have personally extended the teaching method with the aid of piano audio bases such as for example for Franz Simandl's 30 double bass studies, a little more advanced, or Alfredo Trebbi's double bass lessons with about a hundred much simpler accompanied studies to make the study a little more engaging in the initial phase.
