About Alexandre
I have a degree in Engineering from the University of Hawaii and I teach business English and proficiency exams (TOEFL, IELTS, Cambridge). I currently coordinate an English school and give private lessons (in my apartment or at home). I use the same method taught to foreign students at the University of Hawaii. Assurance of passing proficiency tests and success in interviews in English.

I focus the classes based on the student's goals. Therefore, I am always careful to apply spoken communication (based on situations and context of the student), grammar, written production and focus on the audiovisual elements (videos and situations ready to use the language. For example, to study the past, I ask the student to talk about last day activities. The methodology is based on the reality of an native speaker and its language spoken in the country of origin. The material is the same as I used in the United States during the 2 years that I studies there. Really, it is faster and dynamic, without much use of grammatical rules, instead Spoken English.
