About Tyree
Peace! I’m Tyree A. King, an educator and creative who believes learning should feel personal, empowering, and inspiring. I currently teach 4th grade in Petersburg City Public Schools, and I’ve learned that every student has their own rhythm — they just need the right approach to bring it out. My tutoring style is built on patience, creativity, and connection. I don’t just focus on grades; I focus on confidence. Whether we’re reviewing math problems or improving reading comprehension, my goal is to help students actually understand what they’re learning — not just memorize it. I started tutoring because I saw how many students lose confidence when they fall behind. I wanted to change that. Through engaging lessons, visual learning tools, and consistent support, I help students rediscover the joy in learning and realize that they’re capable of mastering anything with the right mindset.
