About Giovanna Lelis Airoldi
Classes can be individual or collective (for classes of a maximum of five students). One class per week will be given for 1h if individual or 1h30 if collective. For beginning students, it is intended to introduce the instrument and the basic notions of their technical mastery as well as the musical theory necessary for their learning. A specific repertoire appropriate to the student's level will be worked. The parameters timbre, pitch, rhythm, tempo and dynamics will be addressed within the repertoire, without stopping to work with the bow and left hand technique in all classes. The repertoire to be approached with the technical exercises aims to support the student's evolution in the practice of the instrument, being possible to include pieces and music that are of interest to each student in the repertoire.

I have extensive experience in teaching the cello, having already given group and individual classes for all age groups, as well as enormous artistic experience, having already participated in several orchestras and musical groups in my ten years of experience! At the age of eight, I started taking cello lessons at the Guri project. From ten to sixteen, I took classes with excellent professionals both in instrument and music theory, and at seventeen, I entered university. I participated in several festivals to improve myself, I graduated in cello from the University of São Paulo and, currently, I am doing a master's degree at the same institution, in addition to being a cellist of the USP Chamber Orchestra.
