About Edrian
Hi! I am Edrian, a passionate and dedicated teacher from the Philippines. I recently graduated with a Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Filipino from Siquijor State College.
During my college years, I gained valuable teaching experience through my teaching internship at Enrique Villanueva National High School, where I handled actual classes, prepared lesson plans, facilitated activities, assessed students, and created engaging learning experiences. I also initiated a community program called Bitaug Out-of-School Youth (BOSY), where I taught young people basic reading, writing, and practical communication skills.
Although my major is Filipino, I believe there should be no barrier when it comes to teaching and learning English. As a teacher, I am willing to understand my students' needs, learning styles, and different levels of English proficiency. I believe that making mistakes is a natural part of learning, and my goal is to help students become more confident in communicating in English.
My teaching experience has taught me to be patient, approachable, and flexible. I want my lessons to feel comfortable, interactive, and enjoyable, where students can learn without fear of making mistakes.
