About Johana
I am a translator, interpreter and English teacher with more than 7 years of experience working in schools with children and adolescents in the teaching of English as a second language (ESL). I have also worked as a teacher in English academies and teacher of classes in companies for adults.

I like to teach and adjust the methodology according to the student and their needs. "Learning is not a game, but you learn by playing." The game is part of the child's daily life, and they always enjoy and relax in the moments when they are having fun. For this reason, it is very important to use the game as a learning methodology, since it is the only way in which we will be able to maintain their attention and they feel comfortable so that they learn. Adolescents already have a more structured logical thinking that helps them learn English, because they are able to analyze what they have understood, and more grammar is explained to them and it is comparatively reinforced with the Spanish language, if it is their native language. For the more advanced I try to motivate them to speak looking for topics of interest.
