About Ali
My name is Ali and I have been learning Japanese at UC as an A+ student. What I really love about teaching is identifying and building on students’ strengths in order to create a sense of ease in the learning space.
I have a passion for teaching and hope to become a qualified Japanese teacher upon graduating at the end of 2022. I have a background as a Learning Assistant at Riccarton High School. I also study psychology and work as a volunteer counsellor at Youthline which allows me to continually develop those essential people-skills required when teaching.
