About Lucas
In addition to liking 'money', which comes from a good job, I started to like it more than I do since my time at University, and also in the English courses I taught. I've always tried to challenge myself (watch movies in English without subtitles that say...) and I try to hone myself in what I can do, whether it's teaching, attracting attention to learn, or playing a little video game!!!
I think studying! English for 8 years (5 only in college, learning a lot of linguistics) brought me these skills.

I'm Lucas and I'm graduating (Finalist) from the Literature course at the Federal University of Amazonas. Going through so many theories, and for more than 2 years of work with teaching the English language, I acquired tools to work with the most diverse groups, people, of different ages, scholastic frameworks etc, and I hope that my classes meet the needs of future students (who I'll care a lot about) when teaching them.
I like to do my English language classes mixing nativeXforeign languages, eventually speaking entire periods in English and translating when necessary. I like to work with the visual as well as digital media, I love videos (especially those from Pop culture to teach), current content (games, movies, news stories), photos and I believe this is essential for a dynamic class. Primarily I focus on helping students in English reinforcement (either elementary or high school) and also for students who need to give an 'Up' (excuse the pun) in learning the language.
