I work predominantly in InDesign. My first step would be to find out what you aim to achieve long term, so that I can tailor our sessions around that. If you are a complete beginner to InDesign, I would plan to follow the checklist below to give you a rounded basis:
- Setting up a document
- Building font hierarchy and colour palettes
- Setting up master pages
- File formats and when to use Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop
- Paragraph styles and character styles
- Tables
- Object styles
- Time saving tools
